These terms cover your use of UnclunkMySite.com. They're written to be read, not skimmed past. By using the site, you agree to them.

Who I am

UnclunkMySite.com is run by me, Craig Desorcy, a sole operator based in Japan. You can reach me at [email protected].

What this site is for

This site explains what I do and lets you ask for help. You can request a free website assessment or fill out a questionnaire for a new site. Sending the form doesn't sign you up for anything, and you're never obligated to hire me.

Free assessments and proposals

The free assessment is my honest take on your current website, based on what I can see and what you tell me. It's advice, not a promise of results. A proposal is an offer for specific work at a specific price. Nothing is agreed until we both say yes.

When we work together

If you hire me, we'll agree in writing on the scope, price, timeline, and payment terms before any work starts. That written agreement is what governs the project. If it ever conflicts with these terms, the written agreement wins.

Ongoing support is optional. If you want it, we'll agree on what it covers. Bigger changes, new features, or redesigns may be priced separately.

You own your stuff

Your domain, website, hosting, email, accounts, and paid tools belong to you. I won't hold them hostage or lock you into my systems. Once the work is paid for, the finished site is yours. Third-party tools, themes, plugins, fonts, and images keep their own licenses.

No guarantees on rankings or revenue

I'll do my best to build a website that does its job. But I can't promise a specific Google ranking, amount of traffic, number of leads, or revenue. Too much of that depends on things outside my control, like search engines, your market, and the services your site relies on.

Things outside my control

Websites depend on hosting companies, domain registrars, plugins, platforms, and other services. I'm not responsible when one of them goes down, changes its rules, or raises its prices. I'll help you sort it out where I can.

Using this site

Please don't misuse the site. That means no spam, no trying to break or overload it, and no sending anything illegal or harmful through the form.

The words, design, and images on this site belong to Unclunk My Site unless noted otherwise. Please don't copy them without asking.

Liability

This site and its content are provided as they are. To the extent the law allows, I'm not liable for indirect or unexpected losses that come from using the site. For paid work, my total liability is limited to the amount you paid me for that work. Nothing here limits rights you have that the law says can't be limited.

Privacy

How I handle your information is explained in the Privacy Policy.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of Japan. If we ever disagree, let's talk it out first. Most things can be fixed with a direct conversation.

Changes

I may update these terms now and then. When I do, I'll change the date at the top. Using the site after that means you accept the new version.
